Yazkah is a Berlin based band founded by Cuban pianist, singer, and producer Yahima Piedra Cordova (Stage name:”Yazkah”).

Yazkah's music combines various musical genres: Afrofunk, Electronic music, Caribbean and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

The band was founded following an invitation to the "World Wide Music" festival. Their debut took place in May 2019, with a concert in "Haus 13 Pfefferberg".

Yazkah immediately managed to perform in clubs and concert halls such as Badehaus Berlin, Creole Festival 2019, World Wide Music Festival, Privaclub Berlin, B-Flat Club Berlin.

The basis of their distinctive sound consists of a powerful drum and percussion section led by melodic and rhythmic vocals.

On stage a wide variety of instruments are used to achieve the goal: to spread pure energy and to celebrate a great show together with the audience.
